On September 26, 2026, the Weaver Mountains Community Outreach and Emergency Response Team (COERT) attended its first community event, the Annual Calf Sale in Peeples Valley.

This was an exciting milestone for COERT, as team members met with community members, introduced the new program, answered questions, and shared information on how local residents can get involved.

The Annual Calf Sale offered a valuable opportunity to connect with neighbors and begin building relationships essential to a strong, prepared, and resilient community.
