About the Books

Former Fire Chief Bob Brandon inspired the writing of these books to preserve the history of the Peeples Valley Fire District. Fire Chief Shawn Bomar played an instrumental role in developing Volume II, which continues the story into the present day.

Readers will learn about the department's humble beginnings, its growth over the years, and the people who helped build and support it.

Volume II also includes information on the 10-acre donation to the PVFD and on the development of the Public Safety Facility.

Written by Jane Meyers, who has been actively involved with the Peeples Valley Fire District for many years.
